The wonderful creation. My comments on Genesis 9: 13-17

Rainbow

There is a difference between God and science, God created everything, and scientists are trying to understand it. Before this time in world history, no rainbow was ever seen in the sky, it was not there, but now God made a covenant with all living beings that He would never again exterminate humans by filling the earth with water. And God sealed the covenant between Himself and all living with a rainbow in the sky. God is God and he never changes, but science changes when they discover something new in what God has established.

By flood

What did God promise to all who entered this covenant, not to destroy all living? No, he did not, he promised to never again destroy all living by a flood.

Eternal

In verse 16 God said; “ 16 The rainbow will be in the cloud. I will look at it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.”

Insects

This eternal covenant is not only between God and man, but it also includes animals, creeping things and flying creatures and everything that lives in the water. When we are out in nature, we should respect all living, insects of all kind, they are so wonderful, and beautiful and effective, God respected them and made this covenant with them as well. God said in Solomon’s words that wisdom could be seen in the life and striving of the ants.

Birds

Jesus said we should look at the birds. When you are outdoors, take your time and look at the creation with respect and wonder, God did everything to make us happy and care for it.

Questions

1. When did the rainbow appear?

2. What is the difference between God and science?
