Then God created the sun, the moon, and the stars, these didn’t produce light, they were light-bearers, to provide the light that was already created on day one. God gave us the light-bearers and the rest of the creation to benefit from. For instance, in the springtime when the vegetation starts to produce and the birds build their nests and care for their young ones. The summer, our vacation time, the autumn with all its colors, and the winter when nature can rest and we might enjoy Christmas.

Also, the stars were given to help us, for instance, to navigate by, it was not given to be explored, to travel to in space to find life, there is no life there, the life is here on earth.

God created the light bearers to separate light from darkness. In the Physical, it is quite simple; where there is light, we can see. God gave us the light to rule both day and night. However, the truth is not in the Physical, it is in the spiritual room, in the world, we cannot see. The sin polluted the Physical and the world needed the spiritual light to regain the vision.

The sin made the darkness takes over the ruling on earth and people lost their sight and vision, they thought they saw however the devil fooled them by presenting his own truth which is a lie. Therefore, God sent the true light to earth for people to regain their vision, John 8: 12.

John 8:12, AMP

12 Once more Jesus addressed the crowd. He said, “[a]I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”

ASV short notes on John 8:12

The darkness ruled the world, the prince of this world had blinded the eyes of people, they couldn’t see, so Jesus came and said to them that He had come for them to regain their sight, He said: “I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” Jesus was the light and is the light, only by Him can we see and enjoy life on earth, He called it “the light of life
