Notes on Genesis 1:14-19 and considering questions

שלום חברי

Then God created the sun, the moon, and the stars, these didn’t produce light, they were light-bearers, to provide the light that was already created on day one. These were given us and the rest of the creation to benefit from, the springtime when the vegetation starts to produce and the birds build its nests and care for their young ones. The summer, our vacation time, the autumn with all its colors, and the winter when nature can rest and we can enjoy skiing and Christmas.

Also, the stars were given to help us, for instance, to navigate by, it was not given to explore, to travel to in space to find life, there is no life there, the life is here on earth.

The light bearers were also created to separate the light from darkness. In the Physical, it is quite simple, where there is light we can see and the light was given us to rule both the day and night. But the truth is not in the Physical it is in the spiritual, in the room, the world we cannot see. The sin polluted the Physical and the world needed the spiritual to be able to see.

The sin made the darkness takes over the ruling on earth and people lost their sight and vision, they thought they saw but they were fooled by the devil. So God sent the true light to earth for people to regain their vision, John 8: 12.

John 8:12, AMP

P12 Once more Jesus addressed the crowd. He said, “I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”

ASV short note on John 8:12

The darkness ruled the world, the prince of this world had blinded the eyes of people, they couldn’t see, so Jesus came and said to them that He had come for them to regain their sight, He said: “I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” Jesus was the light and is the light, only by Him can we see and enjoy life on earth, He called it “the light of life”
